Classical Conversations Opportunity

This is a three-day event to find out more about classical education the CC way. It is free for the parents and they have fun, educational camps for the children. The camps fill quickly and have a fee, but if anyone is interested in joining next year, this will be a great introduction.

Tour of Rankin Museum & Valentine Party

Richmond County Home Educators,

We will be touring the Rankin Museum with Jim Chavis. He used to fly Dr. Rankin around & will be giving us insightful information about what’s inside!

Monday, Feb. 1st, 2pm, 4-H Introduction Meeting

The new 4-H director, Alyson Hoffman, will be talking to the new home school 4-H group about 4H and the curriculums available.

She will give us a tour of the office, etc.

If you’d like to attend the introduction Meeting to see if you’d like to join this 4-H Home School group, we’d love to have you!

This 4-H group will meet 1x a month and is separate from our Richmond County Home Educators’ group.

We are looking at having the 4-H meetings on Monday’s 1x a month from 2-3pm.

Our Richmond County Home Educators’ group will continue to have field trips/meetings/parties on Thursday’s, meeting 2x a month as our goal.

Education Fair, Jan. 30th, 2pm

Hello everyone,

We are excited to see you Saturday, Jan. 30th, at First Presbyterian Church, Address: 133 Ballard St, Ellerbe, NC 28338.

Please arrive at by 1:40pm to be able to set-up your board & turn in "If I Were President" posters.

Feel free to invite friends & family!

We are requesting $5 per family to cover materials, decorations, & goodie bags for all of the kids attending. (Please see Amanda upon arrival.)
