Castlewood Park

Park Day – 5/7/15

Please join Richmond County Home Educators on Thursday, May 7th, 2015 for Park Day/4-H Sign up.

Where: Castlewood Park, 522 Ledbetter Rd, Rockingham, NC 28379

Time: 1:30pm – 3:30pm

What: Come play, hang out and socialize. Some families may be coming straight from the National Day of Prayer event.

Other:

  1. Parents may bring their student’s art to the park on May 7th.  If that day/time is not convenient, arrangements can be made before that date.
  2. Registration forms for the 2015-2016 4-H group will be available at Park Day.
  3. Restrooms and drinking fountain available,  fenced play area and a nice walking trail.

Easter Party – 3/26/15

Please join Richmond County Home Educators on Thursday, March 26, 2015 for an Easter Party.

Where: Castlewood Park, 522 Ledbetter Rd, Rockingham, NC 28379

Time: 11:30am – 1:30pm

What: Bring your own picnic and an Easter treat/dessert to share. Children will look for (unfilled) Easter eggs around the park and receive a pre-filled goodie bag.  Two optional craft will be available.

Art Day – 10/9/14

Please join Richmond County Home Educators on Thursday, October 9th 2014 for Fall Art Day.

Where: Castlewood Park, Ledbetter Rd, Rockingham

Time: 1:00pm – 3:00pm

What: Come make a beautiful place mat, or wall-hanging, using pressed leaves. Each family may provide their own pressed leaves and glue sticks.  Our home school group will cover the other materials.
